Credit

This is Compulsory course (4 credits).  Students will take the first half of this course in grade 10 (Planning 10) and the second half in grade 12 (Transitions 12).

Assessment

Student must meet minimum requirements in each (and all) sections to receive credit.  A letter grade and percent will appear on their report card and transcript.

Credit

This is a FOUR credit compulsory course that is timetabled in as a ½ of 1 semester course.

Assessment

Student must meet minimum requirements in each (and all) sections to receive credit.  An RM (Requirements Met) will appear on the transcript.

Daily Physical Activity
  
All students must complete and document 150 minutes a week of moderate to intense physical activity.  Student must verify the activity and minutes (get an adult to sign to verify the activity and time), and must reflect on what they have learned from this activity and how this will influence their future.  Students are asked to use an LV Rogers Daily Physical Activity Log that can be obtained from this website or a Graduation Transitions teacher.

Work Experience

Students are required to provide evidence (paystub, signed statement etc.) of 25 hours of work experience.  Students can use volunteer or paid work.  Students are also required to journalize work activity and reflect on what they have learned from work and how it will influence their future.

Community Service

Students are required to provide evidence (signed statement, certificate etc.) of 5 hours of volunteer work for a Non-profit organization.  Students must journalize the volunteer activity and reflect on what they have learned the activity and how it will influence their future.
