PARENTS: The next LVR PAC meeting is Mon April 6th, 7-8:30pm in room 211. PARENT/COMMUNITY DPAC FILM NIGHT:  DPAC is sponsoring a Nelson showing of Screenagers: NEXT CHAPTER, Wed. April 8th 7pm at the Civic Theatre, followed by a  panel discussion. Screenagers: NextChapter, the sequel to the film, Screenagers, was released in Oct 2019 with a focus on mental health and resillience  in high school/middle school. The trailer can be viewed through this link  https://www.screenagersmovie.com/       

 

Grad Fees $200 are due no later than April 3rd. You can pay online using the Portal (in the notes write “Grad Fees”) OR pay by cash/cheque to the office. If the fees are not paid ASAP the Grad weekend festivities will be jeopardized

 

All Grade 12 students who are seeking scholarship & bursary opportunities! Please make sure you complete the Grad 2020 Cohort Survey online to ensure your eligibility. Deadline for Cohort Survey completion is next week, Friday, March 13th.

 

Reminder to grade 12 students. Make sure you have done your gr 10 Numeracy Assessment to graduate. See a counselor or Vice Principal to sign up for this year’s assessment session. Deadline is Friday.

 

Just a reminder that with the continued flu season and being proactive with regard to Corona Virus 19, please remember to ALWAYS wash your hands with soap for 20-30 seconds after using the washroom. Soap dispensers have bene filled; if they are empty, please let the Office know right away. Also: limit physical contact (hand shaking, touching your face), and if you are legitimately sick, please stay home! Wishing everyone a healthy Spring Break!

Selkirk College Admission on the spot is today, March 12th at the Silver King Campus in Nelson. This is a great opportunity for your application to be processed immediately for your program of choice on the spot, without having to pay an application fee. Also receive a free Selkirk College hat.

 

The talent show auditions will take place Wednesday April 2nd and April 15th, from 3:30 to 5:30. Sing up sheet for the auditions are located at the office, for more information look at the posters around school.

 

Reminder to the soccer players on the senior girls high school team to please get their start up fees in to the office before spring break.
