L.V. Rogers Grizzlies Celebrate Achievements at Annual Athletic Awards
The LV Rogers Grizzlies gathered on Tuesday, June 10th to celebrate their Athletic Awards banquet, marking the culmination of three impressive seasons of competition across fall, winter, and spring sports.
This year’s Grizzlies demonstrated exceptional skill and determination, achieving notable success at the provincial level. Some highlights include the Senior Girls Soccer team securing a remarkable 2nd place finish, while the Senior Boys Soccer team finishing 7th place and the speedy Dawson Abraham placing 4th place in the Jr. Boys’ Provincials Cross-Country race. The evening’s major honors recognized athletes who stood out for their dedication and performance.
The Outstanding Athlete award, recognizing excellence in a single sport, were presented to Cristobal Jacob Pares (Soccer), Rylie Clark (Soccer), and Georgia Shuel (Volleyball).
Celebrating success, leadership and skill across multiple sports, the All-Around Athlete awards went to Paityn Lake, who excelled in Soccer, Basketball, and Volleyball, and Lanz Gonzales, a standout in both Volleyball and Basketball.
Academic achievement was also celebrated alongside athletic excellence, with the Top Scholar-Athlete awards presented to Noah Jury (Soccer) and Kallie Badry (Swimming). Both athletes distinguished themselves by competing at high levels in their respective sports while maintaining an impressive 4.0 GPA.
The Grizzly award celebrates players who shine in their specific spot, are dedicated, coachable, supportive teammates and positive role models for our school community.

- Boys Soccer: Lazlo Lorenzo Langevin
- Girls Soccer: Nina Usher
- Tennis: Cade McCarthy
- Track & Field: Aleah Smith
- Golf: Griffin Wanhella
- Girls’ Rugby: Bea Martin
- Boys’ Rugby: Leopold Haase
- Swimming: Sasha Eaton
The LV Rogers Grizzlies Athletic Awards highlighted not only athletic talent but also the hard work and balance that these student-athletes embody. Congratulations to all recipients for their outstanding achievements this year.
