Way̓ slax̌ts i̓ʔ n̓səl̓xčin̓ - Opportunity for 15-17 youth

Your local Rotary Club has an opportunity for 1-2 youth (15—17 year old) leaders from our area to participate in an amazing week-long reconciliation leadership experience in Nova Scotia!

My name is Allison, and I am the Rotary district liaison on HIP, Honouring Indigenous People. HIP's mission is to catalyze societal change by inspiring Indigenous & Non-Indigenous relationship building, strengthening community well-being and advancing the next generation of leaders.
All details for this year’s event are in the link below. Please share with youth you feel are ready to gather, grow and learn for a week this spring with (only!) 50 youth from across Canada. The gathering will take place at Acadia University, Wolfville, Nova Scotia, with all costs, including travel, fully covered. Online pre-work with HIP and follow-up work in your communities is expected.

HIP invites Youth from all corners of Canada for a one week life-changing experience. This initiative is designed to empower the future leaders by fostering unity between Indigenous and Non-Indigenous youth, inspiring them to drive positive change for peace and sustainable environmental practices.
