Weekly Update - 07Oct23
Good day out there, LVR Community.
Thank you to Mr. Wooldridge (Mr. Tim) for sharing this week's main image of our Track team from a recent event and to Mr. Morton for sharing the pic below of grade 10's applying their trigonometry learning to indirectly measuring our flagpole with tape measures, clinometers, and the tangent of an angle. Now that I am getting more settled in my role at LVR, I look forward to being in classes more seeing the great learning going on. I got to end yesterday with grade 11 Chemists in Ms. McGregor's room who were testing reactions (with some groovy tunes in the background).

- Youth Action Grants
McCreary’s Youth Advisory & Action Council created the Youth Action Grants (up to $750) to provide B.C. youth aged 12 to 19 years old with the opportunity to lead a project aimed at improving youth health in their school and/or community. The continuous application process is open until all the funds are distributed.
