LV Rogers Valedictorian Speech Class of 2019

Good evening fellow graduates, family, friends, and welcome to the first assembly where I think everyone has shown up to. As much as your ears hurt and your caps itch, you are all deserving of this moment and what it signifies, whether that’s the beginning of the rest of your life, or at least the end of PE 10 online. 

LV Rogers Secondary Awards for Excellence & Achievement 2019

Congratulations to the following students who were recipients of the Major Awards at the LV Rogers Secondary Awards Ceremony for Excellence & Achievement 2019:

Top Citizen

Awarded to Ms. Brynn Belland, Grade 12 for excellence and achievement in service leadership.

Top Service

Awarded to Ms. Olivia Kelly, and Ms. Leoni Mathes, both Grade 12, for their service leadership.

The BCRTA Excellence in Education Committee has made the decision to award the Legion/Golden Star Award for 2019 to the LV Rogers Secondary School  in Nelson.

Kootenay Regional Rugby Zone Finals

Some amazing Rugby play from all our LVR teams on Wednesday, May 15th, and wins all the way around.

Congratulations to the Sr Boys Rugby team who remain undefeated, and to both Sr Girls and Jr Boys for excellent teamwork skills and sportsmanship!

Thanks so much to coaches Luc Boyer and Scott Cormie and to co-coaches for all their support for the teams this season!
