LVR Weekly Update - 06May23
Good day out there, LVR Community.
LVR would like to thank the CWB Welding Foundation - https://www.cwbweldingfoundation.org/ - for their generous donation of $4500 work of welding safety gear. This donation will help student learn to weld safely, with the highest quality gear on the market. Thanks also to our Tech Ed Teachers, Mr. Chambers & Mr. Wilkin for their work on seeking grant opportunities like this that support our Trades programs!

Nelson Tennis Club - One of the Nelson Tennis Club’s important goals is inclusivity and equal opportunity to enjoy our fun sports. This season, with the support of the Nelson Lions Club and the Nelson District Credit Union, NTC is piloting a bursary program to subsidize individuals and families that are keen to play but inhibited in doing so by financial hardship. Please take a moment to think of someone that would benefit and refer them to www.nelsontennisclub.com to complete a brief and confidential on-line application. Tennis membership and PB season pass subsidies are limited in number and issued on a first-come basis, so folks are encouraged to act promptly. Thanks for helping make our facility an even better place. - Keith Bridger, President - Nelson Tennis Club & Simone Simpson - 647-967-4744.
Take care,
Dan Rude - Principal
