Hi LV Families,

We will have Alberta Post Secondary Colleges and Universities in the gym at LVR on Tuesday, September 23^rd from 6:30 to 8 pm. We encourage all grade 11 & 12 students and their families to join and learn more about these institutions and what they have to offer.

This Wednesday is LVR's Terry Fox Run during the morning in “A” block.  The Rec Leadership class been busy organizing and fundraising for it.  Our school goal is to raise $2,500 this year.  With the help of Mr. Vissers chameleon haircut fundraiser in the spring, we are well on our way!  Please remind your student to bring some change to their “A” block class.  Alternatively, you can make online donations to the LVR page here; https://schools.terryfox.ca/100500

We are encouraging students to dress in RED and WHITE on Wednesday to show their patriotic support for the Canadian legend Terry Fox!

Also on Wednesday, We have our Rugby team playing in Kimberly and our Cross-Country team completing in Winlaw. Good luck to both teams!

Pizza will be on sale at lunch every Friday in the cafeteria sold by the Rec Leadership class. Money fundraised will help fund school projects and community charities.
