LVR Weekly Update - Dec 7th 2025
Hello LVR Families,
We have lots of gratitude and celebrations to offer this week. Thank you to those families who participated in the Dance program’s annual poinsettia fundraiser! The school looked very festive on Friday as families came to pick up their holiday orders!
The “Monster’s in the Details” exhibit at Wildflower, shown in this week’s school pic, ran last week as well, celebrating around 80 individual artists from LVR and Wildflower. Thank you to all the amazing artists who participated!
Over the past few weeks, LVR has been working closely with students and families to highlight the impact of regular attendance on learning. I want to extend a sincere thank you to parents and guardians for your support. Your efforts are already making a difference. In the two weeks prior to our grade-wide attendance letters going out, LVR recorded 697 student absences. In the two weeks that followed, that number dropped to 625, representing a decrease of more than 10%.
While attendance is just one part of a student’s school experience, consistency matters. We are grateful for the many families who have reached out or helped encourage stronger routines at home. Thank you for your continued support as we work together to build positive momentum in student attendance.
