Hello LVR families, 

Our second semester is now fully underway, and students have been in their classes for two weeks already! 
If your student still has questions, or is struggling to get to their classes, they need to check in with the office, or book an appointment with one of our school counselors.

Lots of buzz about the students' lanterns!  We had 25 this year and the artists worked on them for 3 weeks in January.  Bring on the light! Friday night Corazon singers carried the lanterns in the parade on Baker Street and Saturday they were included in the Festival at Lakeside Park. Fabulous turn out, in the rain no less!

 

Sr. Boys Basketball: Went 3-0 and won the final against Stanley Humphries 101-60 on Saturday evening. Chase Lake and Elijah Marcum-McCormick scored 22 points each.

Sr. Girls Basketball: Our team went 1-2. The highlight being a 63-39 win over the Golden Eagles. Led by Emme Evenson scoring 17 points.

Looking ahead:
-Sr. Girl basketball zones in Creston on Feb 12/13
-Sr. Boys basketball zones Feb.20/21 in Invermere.

Believe it or not, we are already starting to plan for next year. Students will select their courses for the 2026-2027 school year during the week before Spring Break. We are still working out the details, but we are planning to host parent information nights in the last week of February (Feb 23rd - 27th). Stay tuned to the blog in the next few weeks as we finalize next year’s course offerings.
