Hello LVR families,

It is good to be back into the routine at LV! With finals for courses next week, and Semester 2 quickly coming up, we will be having grade-wide assemblies for all students on Friday, January 16th. 
Our Sr. Boys Basketball team won the Kootenay classic this Saturday in a well-attended final against Fernie. Thanks to Mr. MacKinnon for setting up a great tournament, and congratulations to the team!
The 5th Annual LVR Student Choice Art Show has its opening night at the Nelson Library on Friday, January 16th from 7 - 8pm.

The LVR Grad Closet Committee for this year's LVR Grads has asked me to invite all parents  to like and follow this important initiative on social media. There are important announcements and dates coming up, and all will be shared through social media. You can follow them on Facebook and Instagram @lvrgradcloset Thank you for all your support of our students and our 2026 grads!

Coming up at LV:

  • LVR Health Hub will be starting up again on January 12th. Click on the button below
    for more information.
     
  • We will be having Grade-wide assemblies for all students on Friday, January 16th
  • Friday, January 16th - 5th Annual LVR Student Choice Art Show opening night at the Nelson Library 7 - 8pm 
  • The last day of classes for Semester 1 is January 23rd. Report cards will go out to the family portal on February 6th.
  • Get your new LVR Grizzlies t-shirts, hoodies, and sweatshirts, on sale through the Rec Leadership class & the LVR office.
