Hello LVR families,
I hope that everyone had a safe and happy Halloween. It is always great to see students dress up, even the big ones, to get out, and have fun with the community. 
A reminder that it was “Fall Back” this weekend, so clocks went back 1 hour. Don’t forget to adjust your planning accordingly!
Speaking of community, did you know that LVR has house teams? Students, and staff members are organized into houses ‘vertically’ across the school, mixing grades 10-12. The primary purpose of the house system is to create a sense of spirit and belonging across the school and allow students to mix with different grade levels during organized events. It provides a chance for students to develop their leadership skills and creates a culture of positive role models within the school. 
On that note, congratulations are in order to Team Grey for a well-played final match in our first round of intramurals this year. They played at 110% percent, called their shots, and kept the “I” out of the team. Well-done!
