LVR Weekly Update - Nov302025
Hello LVR Families,
LVR has a long tradition of helping the Nelson Community Food Centre gather edible items to help the less fortunate through the winter. Students from our Rec. Leadership class have delivered a box for non-perishables to students' "D" block classes. If you have any food that you feel could help those less fortunate, please think of supporting this cause. Non-perishable items can also be dropped off at the office at any time.
Did you know, LVR has a homework club? It's true! Student-led and supported by staff, homework club runs every Tuesday after school in Rm 205. If your student needs a bit of extra time to work on their assignments, tell them to check it out! More information is included below:
Drama, Drama, Drama
Our Drama students put on an amazing show, “THE REAL INSPECTOR HOUND” to a sold out audience last Friday and Saturday night. Be sure to circle your calendars and get your tickets early for, “She Kills Monsters”, running June 8th and 9th at the Capitol Theatre.
Arts Exhibitions and Events
The “Monster’s in the Details” exhibit will be at Wildflower school on December 4th, from 6 - 7 p.m. This is a collaboration between Wildflower and LV Rogers students.
