Weekly update - Oct 12 2025

Hello LVR families,

Great news! With a final push, and with all the money raised by student projects and staff fundraising, our school has raised $3300 for the Terry Fox Foundation! Well done LVR!
We have also had lots of student field trips, the attached picture is of a recent visit to the Doukhobor Discovery Center by our Comparative Civilizations 12 class. We had also had classes heading out into the community to learn about local industry, and to learn more about the natural beauty of our area. 

Announcements...   
- In case you missed it, our PAC is hosting their annual general meeting on October 15th at 6:30pm. It’s not too late to sign up!
- Our "Meet the Teacher" night is on October 16th and will take place in the gym from 4-6pm. Appointments are 10-minutes long and are offered from 4-6pm and can be booked through the School Appointments website (link below).

If you are unable to book an appointment, please contact your students' teacher directly.

The booking site goes live at 3:00pm today, Thursday, October 9th.
