Hello LVR families,

I hope that your family is outside enjoying the beautiful weather this weekend. It almost feels like summer again!

As I had mentioned in a previous email late last week, our Rec Leadership class is once again spearheading our annual Terry Fox Fundraiser in support of Cancer Research. 

We will have our annual Terry Fox Run on Wednesday, September 23rd and students are encouraged to bring donations to their "A block" classes all next week. 

Our goal is to raise $2000 in support of the Terry Fox foundation and Cancer research. If you would like to learn more about the Terry Fox foundation please click HERE. Students and families can also donate via tap at the LVR office or by using the website linked below. The prompts will ask you if you would like to donate to a particular student or class, but if you don’t have a specific student, please feel free to put in "LV Rogers" for both prompts.

Our first PAC meeting will be on September 23rd at 6:30pm at LV Rogers. Come check it out and see how you can support our school! If you can’t make it in person, don't worry! I will send out a Microsoft Teams link this week if you would like to attend virtually.
