LVR Weekly Update - 07Jun25
Good day out there, LVR Community.
This week's pic comes from a community art project with Mr. Parnell and students creating and painting a mural at the Nelson & District Youth Centre. We also have two beautiful new murals in the LVR Wood/Metal Shops hallway that were grade 12 Capstone projects this spring. Great to see students scaling up their art work for all to enjoy!
Cafeteria Year-End - Last day of breakfasts & lunches will be Thursday, June 12. There will be some food available from the Cafeteria on June 16 & 17, but not as much as is typically made.
Please consider contributing to Mr. Vissers' Chameleon for Cancer fundraiser by clicking on the link below or using the QR code that will take you to the event that is registered with the Terry Fox Foundation. Mr. Vissers' haircut was postponed from last week and is still to come.
Bussing families, be sure to read the announcement for registering for bussing for the 2025-26 school year. All students requesting SD8 school busing privileges MUST register annually.
