LVR Weekly Update - May 24th2026
Hello LVR families,
There is a Pro-D day on Monday, May 25th, so no school on Monday.
Grads, there will be a grade-wide assembly on Tuesday in “B” block. We will be going over a few details and expectations for your upcoming grad weekend. Your valedictory candidates will also give a short speech to help you make your choice. Voting for the class of 2026 Valedictorian will run from May 26 - until 3:10pm on May 29th. Make sure you vote!
The LVR Grad Closet will be having their last open houses on Friday May 29th from 5 - 7pm and on Saturday May 30th from 1 - 4pm. Check out the flyer linked below for more details and for information on the grad closet giveaway!
Bus registrations for the 2026 - 2027 school year are now open! 2026/27 School Bus Registration Deadline: June 12, 2026. Applications received after the deadline will be considered only if space is available on routes as scheduled. All students requesting SD8 school busing privileges MUST register annually.
LV Rogers is hosting another digital media awareness information session at the LVR library on June 16th from 7:00 - 8:30pm. "Boys in the digital wild - Online Culture, Identity, and well-being" explores some of the pressures that boys are facing online. Topics such as "the manosphere", mental health impacts, and key online personalities will be discussed.

All things Fine Arts:
The Theatre Production Team is working madly on a world renowned play She Kills Monsters - performed at the Capitol Theatre June 9th at 7 pm.
