Weekly Update - 13May23

Good day out there, LVR Community.

This week's pic comes from Ms. Spencer's Art 10 class, who have set up an installation after learning about artists who made installations out of recycled materials.  They collaborated to make a bee habitat out of recycled paper products. 

So many other great things going on, including visiting Physicists, ATLAS fire suppression training, Comparative Cultures visits to the Dukhobor Museum, rugby, golf, & soccer teams' competitions, grad valedictorian speeches & opportunities for volunteerism, French Immersion cafe, AP exams, along with ongoing support for individuals overcoming life obstacles, to name a few for now...

  • Grad Fees

    • $50, due May 15.

    • Does not include grad hoodie or grad yearbook.  More info to come for grad yearbook, including cost and how/when to order.

    • Payment via LVR website make a payment tool - https://lvr.sd8.bc.ca/pay - select "Other Fees" for Fee Type an type "Grad Fees" in the Description box OR by paying at the office during school hours.

  • Grad Weekend Events

    • Cap & Gown Dress Rehearsal for all Grads - Thursday, June 8 at 3:30

    • Cap & Gown Ceremony - school organized - Friday, June 9 at 7:00 in the LVR Gym.  Each grad will have six tickets available for guests, pick up from office May 15-19.

    • Cavalcade - parent group organized - Saturday, June 10 at 3:00

    • Grand March down Baker Street - parent group organized - Saturday, June 10 following Cavalcade

    • Gala at Prestige - parent group organized - Saturday, June 10 at 6:30

  • Bottle Returns: Take your empties to the bottle depot and donate your return to LVR Grad 2023.

  • 50/50 Raffle tickets going fast! Tickets still available at Nelson Clinic Pharmacy or email lvrgraduation@gmail.com
