Good day out there, LVR Community.
A positive and productive week here at LVR! Thanks to Ms. Wiltshire & Ms. Mobbs for taking 30 LVR & REACH students to Selkirk College's Made for Trades Day today, to Mr. Marshall for sharing scenes of the ATLAS Outdoor Program ski/board waxing day, and to Mr. Morton for sharing a pic from Pink Shirt Day this past Wednesday!
Other happenings include the return of the 24-Hour Write contest that started today at noon and involves a sleepover in the LVR Library tonight, hosted by Ms. Kroker & Ms. Lori; two students & Ms. Spencer away in Vancouver representing the West Kootenay regional debate team at the Debate Provincials; the West Kootenay Jr. Boys Basketball Championships hosted at LVR; and our Physics Olympics Team, led by Ms. McTague, preparing for their competition at UBC at the end of next week.
Be sure to check out LVR Artists' series of Atmospheric Ink Paintings in a current exhibition at the NDCC, which runs from Feb 22- April 4th. We are working on a press release for this, and in the meantime, please visit LVR Student Art at NDCC.
