Good day out there, LVR Community.

A BIG congratulations to Nelson Boxing Club members & LVR students who had incredible success at this year's Junior and Youth Canadian Boxing Championships in Calgary over the break.  See the Nelson Star article here for full coverage, which features Milane D'Aurelie's gold medal performance!

Check out new art work by emerging artist & LVR student, Lily Love, who is showcasing some of her pieces at the Nelson Public Library.  The Opening Reception for her show was last night and Lily's work will be on display until April 30th.  See pic below.

SD8 Bus Registration for 2024-25 is now open at Student Bus Request | SD8 Kootenay Lake until June 14, 2024. Applications received after the deadline will be considered only if space is available on routes as scheduled. All students requesting SD8 school busing privileges MUST register annually.

Please note that LVR is next up for upgrades to our security cameras, including indoor cameras in hallways.  This will be on the agenda for the next PAC meeting on Wednesday, April 17th at 6:30 in case you would like to learn more.

Take care & have a great weekend, everyone.
