LVR Weekly Update - 15Jun25

Happy Father's Day out there, fellas!

Congratulations to our Grad 2025 class and all grad families and a huge THANK YOU to all who helped out with making this year's graduation festivities a success! Pics this week come from gr. 11 student, Ayden Lee, as part of the grad yearbook team. The date and process for delivery of grad yearbooks will be communicated soon.

Next up is the return of the year-end LVR Awards Ceremony tomorrow at 11:00, with shortened periods as follows. Tuesday-Friday this week are all double-block days for assessments, projects, exams, and outings.

  • A - 8:40-9:45
  • B - 9:55-11:00
  • 11:00 - proceed with B block class to gym for ceremony, lunch to follow
  • C - 12:50-1:55
  • D - 2:05-3:10

Bussing families, be sure to read the announcement for registering for bussing for the 2025-26 school year.  All students requesting SD8 school busing privileges MUST register annually.

    • Double Block Days for Assessments & Final Exams - June 17-20
    • LVR June PAC Meeting - June 18 at 4:45 in Room 211 & online through Teams
    • LVR Band Year-End Concert - June 18 at 6:00 in the LVR Gym
    • Double Block days for Final Exams for Particular Courses & Work Completion - June 23-24 - all students are welcome to attend, and students who need to attend will be communicated with directly
    • Reports Published to MyEdBC Portals - June 25 - school open for the morning
    • Administration Day for Staff, First Day of Summer Holidays for Students - June 26
    • First School Day of 2025-26 - September 2, morning only for students
