LVR Weekly Update - 16Mar24
Good day out there, LVR Community.
Have a great Spring Break & Easter Weekend, everyone! See you back on Tuesday, April 2nd for the last 13 weeks of the year. Please be prepared for a focused finish after the break as the last term tends to fly by very quickly!
In the meantime, check out pics from the past week from Ms. Shippit's Extra-Curricular Drama student-written & directed 'Cafe le Fou Dessert Cafe' and Mr. Marshall's newly created ATLAS trip to Revelstoke and Rogers Pass to learn more about avalanche control and Revelstoke Mountain Resort's operation. Thank you to our parent volunteers for supporting this trip!
Please also check out our district media release - 'Emerging Student Artists Showcase Paintings at NDCC'.
Thanks to our Athletic Director, Mr. MacKinnon, for putting together this LVR Athletics: Winter Season in Review. We appreciate all the support of the adults involved in supporting our Athletics programming and to all students for committing to our teams!
Please note that LVR is next up for upgrades to our security cameras, including indoor cameras in hallways. This will be on the agenda for the next PAC meeting on Wednesday, April 17th at 6:30 in case you would like to learn more.
