Our Rec Leadership 11/12 class is putting on a school wide food hamper drive.  Students can bring bring food items for the next two weeks to B block classes.  The winning class with the most items will get a pizza lunch in the new year.

Thank you to those who contributed to our LVR Remembrance Day Assembly yesterday, including special guest trumpeter Keith Todd, the LVR Band, and student speakers Taylor Oldham & Cade McCarthy, along with the audience for holding the space in with respect, honour, and reflectiveness.

This month, I want to share my gratitude for some unexpected gifts we have received in our district and in our schools through the month of October.

This week's pic comes from the fun & festive volleyball intramurals going on at lunch on Wednesdays & Thursdays thanks to our Rec Leadership class.  So great to see so many students & staff involved in playing and cheering on the teams.  Go Blue Dogs!

Thanks to Ms. Asbell for this week's photos and for taking Art 11/12 students to Cottowood Lake this past week with support and teachings from Ms. Legg!  I am getting many amazing trip requests coming my way from Teachers for learning beyond the school building across all of our departments and will share more photos as they come in.
