Overview
SD8 Youth Trades is School District 8’s program dedicated to supporting students who are interested in a career path that starts in the Trades. Youth Trades introduces students to the world of technical trades, helps them figure out what path they would like to pursue, and supports them in their transition to technical training and entering a career in the trades.
SD8’s Youth Trades Mission is to help students find a rewarding and reliable career the incorporates their strengths.

Application Packages
Please see links below for each program application packages.
Students will need to have a 3-Year Trades Grad Plan on file, and a current transcript or DVR (Diploma Verification Report attached to the application package.
Students are encouraged to explore the program prior to applying, to apply early, and to ensure they have their graduation plan in place.
