Good snowy day out there, LVR Community.
This week's banner pic come from Ms. MacMillan's Dance Trip to Vancouver which included performances, workshops, and tours. Thanks to all who supported this trip with fundraising and to the group who represented LVR & our community so well! Pics below include more from Dance, Mr. Munby's Biology 12 classes hosting elementary students for their Gallery Walk, and Mr. Mortons' Math 10 students involved in a session with a Science World Scientist/Mathematician in the Classroom.
LVR Rec Leadership Holiday Food Drive

Over the next 2 weeks we are collecting food for the Nelson Community Food Centre in D Block classes. Please help support this project!

Top 10 Most Wanted—note that, at this time the Food Centre is focussing on providing for program participants who are unable to cook.
- 1 - Granola bars and/or power bars
- 2 - Fish: canned salmon, tuna, sardines
- 3 - Dried fruit, raisins, nuts and seeds
- 4 - Sugar and salt-free peanut butter and other nut butters
- 5 - Instant oatmeal and cereals
- 6 - Almond, rice and soy beverages
- 7 - Instant Noodles – ramen, noodle cups
- 8 - Crackers
- 9 - Vitamins/Ensure or Boost
- 10 - Juice boxes
